I remember a conversation with a miner. The man worked underground for 30 years. His job was difficult, dangerous, and exhausting. Despite this, his financial situation left much to be desired. Not because he was extravagant. It was simply that the system he operated within had its ceiling.
Four Questions That Change Your Perspective
Imagine I offer you lower earnings – but with the prospect that after one, two, or three years, they will significantly exceed your current income. They will be scalable and independent.
Discover four questions that enable a change in perspective, along with typical answers:
- “What do you have to do to receive a paycheck and earn money?”
Answer: “I have to go to work and work.” - “What if you don’t go to work? Will your employer still pay you?”
Answer: “No, if I stop working – I don’t earn. They’ll fire me.” - “What would you have to do to earn even more money?”
Answer: “I’d have to work more.” - “And if you wanted to have money your whole life – what would you have to do?”
Answer: “Work my whole life…”
This is the moment of breakthrough. You can examine your situation from a distance and see the pattern you’re stuck in – more or less consciously:
- Work = Paycheck
- No Work = No Money
- More Money = More Work
- Security? Only if you work
Most of us live in a never-ending story where everything depends on our own strength, health, and daily “going to work.” But what if health fails or life presents other challenges?
