People want to take action, get results, earn big money, and change their lives—but… they don’t organize their work. They only act during random meetings or events they are invited to. I want you to hear this clearly: that is not work. That is reacting to opportunities, not consciously creating them.

Today, I will teach you how to stop being an amateur waiting for a lucky break and start acting like a professional who creates their own results.

EVM Syndrome

Imagine someone who is constantly saying they WILL do SOMETHING—that is the Eternal Visionary Mentor. They are constantly planning, analyzing, and considering. They are a veteran because they know everything about the vision of success. But they are an eternal visionary because they never leave the trenches of theory for the battlefield of practice.

Imagine opening a hair salon or starting work as an insurance agent. You invest money, rent a space, and buy equipment. And then what, do you just sit in the chair and wait for customers to break down the door? Of course not.

Network marketing is a business just like any other. And if you don’t approach it with the same level of seriousness, you will never see serious results.

Time Thieves

Before I tell you what real work is, we must unmask the activities that only pretend to be work. Meet the Time Thieves who give you a false sense of productivity while your bank account remains empty:

  • Watching training sessions – This is personal development and preparation, but it is also a trap of productive procrastination.
  • Taking notes – A note itself changes nothing until it is implemented through action.
  • Reading books – Fantastic for growth, but a book won’t schedule a meeting for you.
  • Just thinking about the business – Thinking in the shower, on the way to work, in traffic—it doesn’t translate into results. This isn’t work; it’s philosophizing.
  • Scrolling through leaders’ social media – You can get inspired, but if your own action doesn’t follow, it’s just passive content consumption.

10 Income-Generating Activities

And here are the specifics—10 actions that constitute actual, profitable work in network marketing:

  1. Scheduling recruitment meetings – Phone calls, product meetings, business meetings, and social media activities leading to a specific conversation.
  2. Working with recruits – Onboarding training, teaching customers, showing additional products, and building relationships.
  3. IMS (Informal Motivational Sessions) – One-on-one or small group meetings to boost motivation and restore a sense of purpose.
  4. Calling through your downline – Phone calls, conversations, selling the vision, informing about promotions and news, and inviting people to events.
  5. Creating campaigns and initiatives – Your own seasonal campaigns, motivational programs, and challenges.
  6. Organizing training and events – Regional mini-events, conferences, and inviting guests.
  7. Managing the calendars of committed people – Joint briefings, setting goals, and monitoring activities. Full calendars mean full bank accounts.
  8. Analyzing results and statistics – Numbers never lie. Regularly analyze data, draw conclusions, and verify effectiveness.
  9. Conducting team training – Sharing knowledge, business training, product training, and webinars.
  10. Building community – Building trust, regular communication, and recognizing achievements.
